AI System Kit
A folder of markdown, skills, and working agents that turn Claude Code and Codex into a system that runs your business. Download it, open it, say "set up my system," and start talking.
Zero API keys. Zero accounts. Everything on your disk.
A system is the difference between using AI and building with it
The tools are incredible. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor. But every session starts from zero. You re-explain your business, your context, your processes, every single time. You lose an hour a day reloading your own work into the machine.
That is not a tools problem. It is a systems problem.
This kit fixes it. It gives Claude and Codex a permanent home for your context, your standards, and your repeatable work. Open the folder, and the agent already knows who you are, what you are building, and how you work. The system remembers so you do not have to.
What you get
A working folder structure
Inboxes, projects, clients, ops, context. A place for everything, so the agent always knows where things go and where to find them.
Real skills that act
Not just notes. Working skills that create SOPs, pull answers from your folders, draft your communications, and turn messy input into finished work. Verified actions, not fake completion.
Your context, captured once
A context layer that holds your business, your customers, your standards. Set it once. Every session after that starts informed, not blank.
Built for Claude Code and Codex
Plain markdown, no lock-in. Works in Claude Code, adapts to Codex, opens in Obsidian. Your system, your disk, your rules.
Standards that scale
Coding standards, support standards, process standards. The conventions that keep quality high as you and your team move faster.
Everything on your disk
No cloud, no database, no account, no API keys. A folder of markdown you own completely. Back it up to a private repo if you want. That is the whole system.
Set up in five minutes
Clone the repo, open it in Claude Code, and say "set up my system." Everything after that is a conversation.
git clone https://github.com/vinodsharma10x/AI-system-kit
cd AI-system-kit
claude
# then, in the Claude session:
> set up my systemThe agent walks you through it. It asks about your business, sets up your context, and shows you how to use the skills. No manual to read. You just talk to it.
Built for founders and operators
You are running a business, not a codebase. You use AI every day, but it still feels like a smart assistant with amnesia. You want it to actually hold your context, run your repeatable work, and produce things you can trust.
That is who this is for. Founders, operators, and small teams who want AI to run like a system, not restart like a goldfish.
If you are a developer learning to code with AI, I built a separate edition tuned for you at careerleap.app.
Built by me, at 52, after 12 years in management
I am Vinod. Twenty-six years building software, twelve of them in management, now back at the keyboard building agentic systems for founders and enterprises. My teams support apps with 4M+ active users.
I built this system for my own team first. SOPs, standards, support, all running through Claude Code and shared across the people I work with. It works. I am sharing the starter version because the same structure that runs a department can run a solo founder's whole business.
I write about all of this in Build Notes, my weekly newsletter. One real build story a week. Subscribe here.

Common questions
Do I need Claude Code?
The kit is built for Claude Code, which is free for most users and runs as a CLI or inside VS Code. You can adapt the skills for Codex or Cursor with some editing, but the skill files assume Claude.
Is it really free?
Yes. Free, open source, MIT licensed. I make my living building systems for clients, not selling this kit. If it helps you ship something, tell me. That is the only ask.
Where does my data live?
On your disk. The system is a folder of markdown files. No cloud, no database, no account. Push it to a private repo if you want a backup. That is the entire data story.
I am not technical. Is this for me?
If you can edit a text file and run one command, you can use it. The setup skill meets you where you are and walks you through the rest. If you get stuck, message me.
Can I customize the skills?
Yes, all of them. Skills are plain markdown describing what they do and when to run. Rename them, edit them, delete them, write new ones. The system is yours to shape.
What is the difference between this and the dev edition?
This edition is for founders and operators running a business. The dev edition (at careerleap.app) is tuned for developers learning to build with AI. Same underlying structure, different focus.
Will there be more?
Likely an agency edition next, and deeper team features. If you want a specific edition, tell me on X or LinkedIn.
